Inbound Response Audit

Find out what happens to a demo, contact, or quote request after it arrives.

A fixed-scope written audit of your inbound response. I log response time, the autoresponder, the first human reply, CTA clarity, follow-up, and form friction. I then send back a rewritten first reply, a 3-step follow-up sequence, and 3–5 specific fixes.

No CRM login. No calls. No new software. Redacted data accepted.

Where inbound revenue leaks

Inbound leads are already expensive. If the first response is slow, unclear, generic, or not followed up, the leakage happens after the buyer has already shown intent.

This audit checks the part of the process many teams assume is "good enough" but rarely inspect closely.

Signs this audit applies

  • Website inquiries are answered inconsistently.
  • Quote requests do not always receive structured follow-up.
  • First replies vary depending on who handles them.
  • There is no clear next step after the first response.
  • Good-fit leads sometimes go quiet after one message.
  • Nobody regularly reviews unanswered or stale inbound conversations.

What I log

With your go-ahead, I submit one clearly marked test inquiry through your own demo, contact, or quote form (at a time you choose), then record exactly what happens to it:

LoggedWhat I record
Response timeHow long until the first reply, and whether it varies by channel or time of day
AutoresponderWhether an immediate acknowledgement is sent, and what it actually says
First human replyTiming and content of the first real, non-automated response
CTA clarityWhether the reply ends with one clear next step the buyer can act on
Follow-up qualityWhether anything follows the first reply when the buyer goes quiet
Form frictionWhether the form itself adds steps or fields that lose buyers before they finish

What I need from you

Less than most audits. I can start from your public form alone:

  • Required: the URL of the demo, contact, or quote form you want tested.
  • Optional, to go deeper: redacted examples of real first replies, your autoresponder text, or any follow-up templates.

No CRM export and no login required. The test inquiry is sent only after you approve it, is clearly identified so it won't be mistaken for a real lead, and the timing is yours. Prefer no test at all? Send redacted real examples instead.

What you receive

One written report, delivered async. It contains five things:

  • A response-time score: how your first reply timing actually performed against the test.
  • A follow-up review: what happened after the first reply, and where it stopped.
  • A rewritten first response: ready to paste in, with a clear next step.
  • A 3-step follow-up sequence: written, with a real reason to reply at each step.
  • 3–5 concrete fixes: prioritized, each one you can act on without new software.

The point is to show what to fix first, not to start a large project.
